Janis is originally from Edina. Having graduated from University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1987, she joined Blue Ridge Dental following a year of residency. She lives in Minnetonka with her husband and their six children. Janis was a member of the 1992 Olympic team, competing in the Women’s Marathon. Her primary interests include Bible study, cooking, skiing and, of course, running.
